After launching the sharp X1 in Japan, rumours are stating that Google is now working with Xiaomi to develop the Android Xiaomi Mi 5X phone. Many of us today might not even remember Google’s Android One project but the company has kept the project alive and worked side by side on it. The new smartphone is said to arrive first in Indonesia and will feature a clean Android build instead of MIUI 9.

Apart from Xiaomi’s smartphone, there were other Android smartphones that stood well in the Indonesian market for around IDR 1million or $75. Some of those smartphones include Evercross One X, Mito Impact, and Nexian Journey One.

The current price for the ongoing Mi 5X project is rumoured to be set around $200 which is a little higher than what Indonesian user might be expecting.

Till now the release date of the smartphone has not been revealed by the company.
