Xiaomi recently launched its new ‘Mi Notebook Pro’ to remain in competition with other rival companies such as Apple and Lenovo. Last year, the Chinese manufacturer took a shot at Apple’s MacBook Air by launching its own ‘Mi Notebook Air’, featuring full metal body, full – HD display, Windows 10 and type – C USB charging.

Once again Xiaomi has stuck to its plan in terms of competing with other tech giants as it recently takes on Apple’s MacBook Pro with its new ‘Mi Notebook Pro’. Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook Pro features 15.6” display, RAM of up to 16GB, Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphic chip.

As per the source (TechCrunch), the newest machine includes a fingerprint sensor inside the trackpad, three-in-one SD card support, USB-C and regular USB ports, a headphone jack and a full HDMI slot. Xiaomi wasted no time highlighting that this selection offers far more options than the latest in Apple’s own MacBook Pro series.

Release-wise, it looks like another China-only product unless we hear otherwise from Xiaomi

Xiaomi also came up with a tweet where it directly compares its newly launched Mi Notebook Pro with the Apple MacBook Pro. Here is the screenshot

As far as the pricing of the machine is concerned, Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro price starts at $858 for an i5 chipset with 8GB. For the i7 version, the machine price is $980 and $1,072 for 8GB and 16GB respectively.
