Samsung recently confirms that it will bring its much awaited voice-powered personal assistance app “Bixby” on S8 and S8+ in Canada very soon. Bixby voice assistance is able to  perform many of the same task as Siri, and Google assistance. It also features its own functionalities like Bixby Lab , that allows third – party apps to add voice commands to their apps.

Earlier, the Samsung developers struggled to code proper Chinese and English language into Bixby and their progress seemed to have gone nowhere until now. Korea and the United States are the only markets that feature Bixby voice assistance. As per the sources, the Chinese version of Bixby has been put on delay and there are no further updates about its release.

“Samsung Canada is excited to confirm that Bixby will be launching in Canada soon. We will be sure to provide an update on this forum as soon as we have more details to share” replies the Samsung official.

Also, it is not clear if Canada will get a dedicated syntax for Canadian French and English or the company will stick to a basic version of Bixby’s voice in Canada.
