A couple of weeks after the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, the workload of almost every smartphone company has risen. Even smartphone geeks are watching the tech market to see which smartphone company will be the first to provide an update of Android 8.0 Oreo to their devices.

After confirmation of Google Pixel handset getting an update of Android 8.0, there are rumors that Honor 6 X and 8 Pro will be the next devices that will soon receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo before 2017 is over.

According to Huawei, the company’s two major handsets i.e. Honor 6X (update to arrive in Jan 2018) and Honor 8 Pro (December 2017) will receive an update of the new operating system by this year. However, till now there is no word from the company regarding when Honor 9 will receive an update of 8.0 Oreo.

Huawei also confirmed that the company is working with its Research & Development team to provide more uniform experience for the OTA software updates, camera lad, fixes for theme bugs as well as for overall better user experience.
