The chrome developer tools (dev tools), are a set of web authoring and debugging tools built into Google chrome. The dev tools provide web developers deep access into the internals of the browser and their web application.
For those aren’t aware of chrome dev, in simpler words, the app apparently allows Google to experiment with chrome features before making a debut in the stable chrome app.
In their latest update, this tech giant came up with a significantly faster and revamped search widget for the users. Although, this feature is still in the trial phase, to give it a try users first need to download Chrome Dev app from the Google play store. Drag the widget and set its position on your home screen. On tapping, it instantly launches a search in Chrome Dev and brings up keyboard and auto-suggestions.
The widget though appears dull and boring is just plain and faster than the search options before, and thus arguably the best option you can get on android right now. The widget promises to speed up the process of searching ever so slightly then before.
Since the widget is not launched yet, for the experiential purpose, it is currently available only for Chrome Dev version 60.
