With the launch of Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro 4 refresh just around the corner, American editor, blogger and phone leaker “Evan Blass” shared some insights on the product on Thursday.
Reportedly, Microsoft will reveal the latest version of Surface Pro on 23rd of May in Shanghai, China. Microsoft has made minor tweaks in the nomenclature and has planned to call the device as the ‘Surface Pro’.
Panos Panay, the Surface chief, declined the news of the product being called Surface Pro 5.
Gadget freaks might be disappointed if they expect major modifications in this version as the only difference is the keyboard colours and the new pen which bears resemblance to those one which Microsoft introduced in the Surface Laptop.
For those who expect more specifications and product details, you will have to suffice with the limited details as Blass couldn’t impart any more information. However, we’ll drop in a detail that this version will not have the USB-C port which is a next-gen port and there would be no descendant of this series after the upcoming model.
Much to the relief, Surface Pro will be updated enough to incorporate the brand new Kaby Lake processors by Intel which will add a bit in the performance of the amazing notebook.
