With the release of latest iOS 11 version, Apple has decided to update the Apple music app for Android to bring out some of the equivalent features. The updated version of the Apple Music app will allow the app users to follow other people and see what they are listening to. In addition to this, the current 2.2 version will also bring support for “Ok Google” voice search; add a new widget option and app shortcuts.

The new Apple Music’s Connect feature values more towards social sharing and thereby allow all the users to create their own profile and share the playlists and songs they are listening to.

Users can also enjoy the benefit of voice assistant service with this new update. They will be able to play songs, artists, and albums with the help of “Ok Google” command. Additionally, users can also start the Beats 1 radio station with the help of voice assistant.

Lastly, the new “Recently Played” widget will allow users to quickly start the recently played music from their home screen. However, this update adds support for app shortcuts on Android 7.1+ devices and above.
