A recent statement from Apple states that the “Search Ads” feature will now be available for the developers in the Canadian, Mexico and Switzerland iOS App store.
This new feature will allow Canadian developers to create campaigns that will help them to promote their apps in the iOS App Store among top search results. According to Apple, the new ads will go live on October 17th, 2017, during 1:00 pm E.T. The company officials also added that it is for the first time when advertisers can also utilize Search Ads for free with an available credit of $100 CAD.
In this overcrowded app marketplace particularly the iOS App Store, the “Search Ads” feature will give developers at least a chance to promote their content in a better way by properly utilizing the digital retail platform. However, the paid promotion feature such as results with the paid feature can create problems when compared with the apps that have a lesser financial budget over deeper financial budget.
One statement from Apple in the launch event mentioned ““From the largest developers to small, independent companies, [conversion] rates are more than 50 percent, and CPAs remain very attractive with the majority of developers achieving CPAs around $1 USD, far exceeding industry benchmarks for comparable offerings.”
