Apple iOS 11 Arrives To Almost 20 Compatible Apple Devices


Apple started rolling out its iOS 11 after months of testing. According to Apple, the new update of the iOS 11 will be available for nearly twenty devices. The only iOS 10 devices that will not be upgraded to the newer iOS 11 version includes iPad 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C.

The iOS 11 comes with enhanced AR capabilities, a new UI, and an improved camera app. In addition to this, Siri also gets an update and the voice assistant gained translation capabilities from English to 5 new languages.

Other features include new screenshot mode, screen recording, safe driving (iPhone), drag and drop files (iPad), new app switcher (iPad), live photo changes, emergency SOS (iPhone), new iMessage effects, one-handed keyboard (iPhone), new file system (iPad), persistent notifications, document scanning and much more.

Here is the list of all those twenty devices that will receive the new iOS 11 update: iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPhone SE, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad Pro 9.7, iPad Pro 10.5, iPad Pro 12.9, iPad 9.7, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, and the iPod Touch (6th Gen).

The new iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are coming with the new iOS 11 straight out of the box.
