All 2016 Ford Sync 3-Compatible Vehicles Preloaded With Android Auto and CarPlay Support
After Mazda extended support for Android Auto and CarPlay in all vehicles with its Mazda Connect infotainment system earlier this year, the automaker of Ford also announced on Friday that all Sync 3-compatible Ford vehicles of 2016 will be incorporated with the features of both.
However, there was a lot of resistance earlier but auto manufacturers finally seem to be implementing infotainment platforms by Apple and Google.
Even though the update is available externally from a nearby Ford dealership and is downloadable from Ford’s website, people love the idea of pre-installed support for Android Auto and CarPlay which can be directly connected to the infotainment system via USB or Wi-Fi.
Not to forget all of this is happening due to the latest modification in Ford Sync 3 making it the first of its kind to get an update of Sync 3 with the help of Wi-Fi.
